This past weekend was our annual ScouTrees fund-raiser and community environmental project day. Early in the morning on Saturday, 1st Miton Beavers and Cubs were out in force planing trees to help the environment and our community.
Scout Trees has been an annual Scouts Canada event since 1972, where as a group Scouts Canada has planted over 80 million trees across the country!
The 1st Milton Group was the 3rd largest group in attendance this year, and we planted over 500 trees to help offset carbon emissions and make the work a greener place.
