JOTT 2016 – Hike

On Saturday May 14, 2016 1st Milton Cub Scouts will be participating in the World Scouting Jamboree on the Trail (JOTT) Hike.  This will be a joint hike between 1st Milton Cubs and 7th Milton Cubs. JOTT – Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together. All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can. Scout Trees 2016

Each spring since 1972, thousands of Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts and Rover Scouts have planted trees through the Scoutrees Program. Scoutrees gives all members the opportunity to demonstrate, through action, their concern for the environment. By planting trees, youth learn about the important role trees have in our lives, the critical need for conservation, the huge impact of climate change and how we can do our part to create a better world. 1st Milton E-Waste Fundraiser

On Saturday April 23, 2016 We will be collecting your old electronics for recycling.  We will be in the back parking lot of the mall between the mall and Winners. This is a fundraiser for 1st Milton as a portion of the proceeds from what is recycled will come back into our group to help offset the cost of delivering our programs. Please help out by letting your friends and neighbours know to bring their old e-waste to us to help clean up the environment and and raise funds for our group.
