Milton Scouts from both the 1st Milton, and 7th Milton groups joined forces on Sunday to march with pride in the annual Milton Ontario Remembrance Day Parade. As the holiday season quickly approaches we look to the welfare of those less fortunate than us and ask the question what can we do to help. Instilling a sense of service to our community and charity in our youth is an important goal of the Scouting movement. As such 1st Milton Group will be providing assistance to the Salvation Army with their annual food and toy drive. On Sunday November 6, 2016 Milton Scouts will be marching in the Milton Ontario Remembrance Day Parade. This is a very imporant day in our community, and in our scouting journey as we pay tribute to all of the fallen, and active members of the Canadian Forces who have fought in the many conflicts in the past that afford us the freedom we enjoy today.
