During Earth Hour people are encouraged to power down all their lights and electronics between 8;30pm and 9:30pm, so what better way to celebrate Earth Hour than to attend a large Scouts Campfire. The Central Escarpment Council of Scouts Canada (CEC) along with the staff at Blue Springs Scout Reserve held a huge campfire for all who wished to attend, and attend they did. Saturday April 30th marked the day for Scout Trees for the Credit Hill Area Scouting groups. We had the perfect day to come out and help the environment out by planting trees. Fun was had by all who came out to support a great event. Scout Trees is a family event that is only made possible by the support of the parents who come out with their kids to help plant.
