Being a Scouter (Adult Volunteer) means committing to a growth mindset and to continued education and skills development. 1st Milton Scouting strives to create an as safe as possible environment for our youth to explore and grow. We have very active youth and from time to time accidents happen. To ensure that our leadership team have the skills required to deal with anything that our kids can throw at us one of the most common training that a new Scouter will be sent on is First Aid Training.
Recently four 1st Milton Beaver Scouters form both Colony “A” and Colony “B” attended First Aid Training. Just like our youth these Scouters had a fun and exciting time while learning critical skills that will allow them to be successful Scouters and deliver a safe and amazing program.
Congratulations to all of our new certified first-aiders!
